How To Speed Up XP ?

I assume that most of the personal computers have windows xp installed in their computers.And sometimes we all see that it takes too much time to do a function on it.So I searched the net and found a solution.I will not say that it is absolute but it will not harm your computer as well.
I will suggest several methods of doing it.

Step 1. Disk cleanup:

1. click start->programs->accessories->system tools->disk cleanup
2. select the drive you want to cleanup
3. click ok and this will remove unnecessary things

Step 2. Remove cached web pages:

1. Internet Explorer->tools->internet options
2. click "delete files"
3. you are done

Step 3. Defragment the hard drive:

1. click start->programs->accessories->system tools->disk defragmenter
2. now if you ant to know if your hard drive is needed to defragment click analyze
3. then click defragment
4. it will take several hours to defragment so do it at later time when you will not use your computer

Step 4. Disable indexing on the C: drive:

1. goto My Computer
2. goto tools->folder options
3. click view tab
4. uncheck the box "Automatically search for network folders and printers"
5. click ok
6. now right click the C: drive
7. goto properties
8. uncheck the box "Allow indexing service to index this for fast file searching"
9. click apply and then ok

Step 5. Disable windows visual styles:

1. right click My Computer
2. goto properties
3. then advanced tab
4. click settings under performance
5. check "Adjust for best performance"
6. click apply and ok

Step 6. Defragment the registry:

1. Open up your browser
2. goto "http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm"
3. download the freeware program called RegSeeker
4. extract the archive
5. double click the RegSeeker.exe
6. then click "clean the registry" on the left panel
7. select autoclean
8. click select all
9. action->delete files
10. then automatic backup->save it

Now it will make your computer run faster.

Make Mozilla Firefox faster

Sometimes you will see that it is very difficult to surf the net with Firefox as the pages take a good amount of time to load.Then its become very frustrating.
I searched the for it and found this tweaks in lots of other sites.

1. open firefox
2. type "about:config" (without quote) in the address bar
3. click ok
4. type "pipe" (without quote) in the filter panel
5. double click network.http.pipelining [make it true]
6. double click network.http.pipelining.ssl [make it true
7. double click network.http.proxy.pipelining [make it true]
8. double click network.http.pipelining.maxrequests [make it 30]
9. restart firefox

Now you will see a rise in the surfing and download speed.

My favourite web browser

There are several web browsers out there which helps to browse the web on personal computers and laptops.Every browser has its own unique feature which make it different from others.These are Internet Explore,Mozilla Firefox,Opera,K Melon,Safari etc.I previously used

Internet Explore when I first used to visit web sites.Then one of my friend told me about a browser which now has won my heart which is Firefox.After that I also used other browsers like opera safari but at last find that Firefox is Firefox.It has no other alternatives.

It is very fast,reliable,secure,funny,simple and very easy to use.Any new person will find it that it is not difficult to use it.It is widely used by net lovers.

The feature which I liked most is the Add-ons which we can use with Firefox which made it very funky to use.We can add themes,other add-ons like greasemonkey,downloadhelper,downthemall etc and lots of other extensions.
